Nestor of Gerenia (Ancient Greek: Νέστωρ Γερήνιος, Nestōr Gerēnios) was the legendary wise King of Pylos described in Homer's Odyssey. [2] Excavations from 1939 revealed his palace , and excavations have recently resumed at the site.
